Track Riding
Riding on a closed circuit — the safest way to develop high-speed skills without road hazards.
What is it
Track riding is riding on a closed racing circuit — no oncoming traffic, no pedestrians, no cars, no road hazards. Everyone rides the same direction, there are runoff zones, and medics are on site. It's the only safe way to ride fast.
How it works
Track days are organized by schools or clubs. Participants are grouped by level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Instructors help with technique. You learn trail braking, body positioning, corner lines, and throttle control in a safe environment.
How to practice
- Find the nearest track and sign up for a track day
- Start in the beginner group — don't rush to the fast group
- Gear: minimum leather suit, gloves, boots, full-face helmet
- Focus on technique, not speed — speed comes with technique
